Dave Stevens wrote drew and hand painted this Aurora story for Alien Worlds #2 using the blueline process where the ink line artwork was printed as black on an acetate layer over the painted colours.

The story was ultimately re-coloured for print by Steve Oliff but these are a nice and affordable example of Dave's work.
